The first step of the process is to see if we have a DJ available for your event date using the date checker on the right. If we have a DJ available for your event date, you will be taken to a detailed contact form to fill out and submit to us. We will then respond within 24 hours to answer any questions you have and to provide any additional information you might need, including a detailed quote for your event. We can also schedule a no obligation consult in person or via a video conference. From there we can typically put a 2 week hold on your event date while you explore all of your entertainment options. If you then decide you a want to move forward with using one of our DJs for your wedding reception, then the next step is getting a contract in place.
For the contract we use an online document management system to make signing and storing contracts as easy as possible. The contract is sent to you via a link in an email. All you have to do is click on the link in the email and you will be taken to a secure portal to sign the contract for your wedding or event. You can review the contract and sign it, or you can suggest any changes or edits you would like to see. Once the contract is signed and submitted, you will be sent the log in and password for your online planning account. Your contract will be stored and can be accessed in the online planning system. You can print it off (if you like), or it will be stored online forever, thereby saving trees and our environment! The electronic contract is fully legal and biding to both parties involved. In the online client portal you are able to pay the deposit for your wedding or event via Paypal or with a Credit/Debit. You also have the option of mailing a check for the deposit. We require a 50% deposit/retainer up front, and then the other 50% is due the week of your wedding reception or event.
Once the deposit is paid, your event is fully "booked". Moving forward from there, you will work on planning your event via the client portal and with your assigned wedding DJ. In the planning system you will be able to create playlists (including a do not playlist), generate a timeline, specify any introductions etc, and also communicate to us all the other details of the event. We will also send you periodic reminders of things to be completing in the client portal. If you have any questions during the planning process, your DJ will always be available to meet and discuss your event with you with proper notice.
The week of your wedding reception we will arrange a final planning meeting with you and your wedding DJ. In that meeting you will finalize all the details of the event with your wedding DJ. We set up this final planning meeting the week of the event so that the information will be fresh in your DJs head for the weekend, and also so there is less likelihood of anything changing. After that meeting, your wedding DJ will send you an event confirmation sheet to again confirm all the details. Once you approve the final confirmation sheet everything is locked in for your event, and you can relax and enjoy your big day knowing all the little details of the reception have been taken care of. In your final planning meeting you will also discuss in depth your musical preferences, you will review your playlists with your DJ, and your DJ will give you honest feedback about your musical requests and where they should fit during the wedding reception.
During your wedding reception, your wedding DJ will execute your timeline and facilitate any activities you have asked for, and your DJ will make any announcements you have pre-approved during your wedding reception. You wedding DJ will also liaise with your wedding planner or on premise coordinator, as well as your other wedding vendors to make sure everything flows seamlessly during your event, and to make sure everyone is where they need to be for each activity. Your DJ will execute around your final timeline, but will also allow you to have the flexibility to adjust the timing however you desire during the event. After dinner and all the formalities of the reception it will be time for the dance party part of the evening and this is where your DJ will do what they do best, creating an unforgettable dance party.
After the wedding we will give you a few weeks to enjoy your honeymoon and let life return to normal. About two weeks after your event we will send you a quick survey to make sure your DJ was everything you expected. We will also ask for any feedback about your North Caroloina DJ to help us improve our services.

We work with our clients, in person if possible, to plan every moment of their big day, down to the last detail. We handle all my clients entertainment needs, as well as orchestrate and coordinate the event so they can just relax and enjoy their celebration. Because of our attention to detail, we often know more about the details of the reception than many of our clients own wedding coordinators. The web-based client portal we have developed helps us to do just that. Our web-based planning software allows you to customize your event and communicate to us, all of your needs, wants, desires, and expectations. It helps us to coordinate every last detail with you, from the names and pronunciations of the bridal party for the grand entrance, to the song to play for the for your grand exit, and everything in between. The client portal also allows you to create playlists (as well as do not play lists), set an itinerary for the evening, and to specify events and announcement for us to facilitate. You can also give your guests access to the system using a special link, so that they can make their own song requests (which you have final approval of).
Unlike most mobile DJ's (who all claim to have the best sound equipment), we invest heavily in the highest end professional sound gear, most of which you generally only find on the trucks of large touring bands and stage shows. We bring thunderous sound systems, including subwoofers, in order to make sure you can feel the bass when the time comes to dance. Most mobile DJs will only show up with 2 full range speakers which will not have enough bass let you feel the low end. We take pride in offering the best sound quality and clarity in the industry. Our music isn't loud, it is full, rich, and well balanced so as not to leave ringing in your ears at the end of the event. We can certainly turn up the volume, but we utilize the latest technologies, such as digital signal processing, digital speaker frequency response analysis, and room acoustics analysis (using pink noise), in order to provide crystal clear sound, that is also full, deep, and rich. We are able to calibrate our sound systems, using a DBX Drive Rack, to optimize them for each venue, on a room by room basis. Digital signal processing also guarantees zero feedback while you or your guests are using the microphones, and also ensures that your guests will understand and hear clearly, every word you say, even if they are in the back of the room.

With a wedding you need someone to serve as the MC to keep the event flowing smoothly. We will handle all of the MC duties at your event with tact and professionalism. We strive to avoid cheesy jokes and corny cliches. Your assigned mobile DJ will make any and all necessary announcements that you have specified ahead of time. Your DJ will not talk on the mic all evening and try to be the center of attention. Our philosophy is that it is your big day and the focus should be on you! In an effort to protect and preserve our natural resources, and the enchanting forest lands that surround Western North Carolina, we strive to be as green as we possibly can in doing business. We make every effort to be as carbon neutral, and environmentally conscience as possible.
You may ask how we can be green working as wedding djs. As with all efforts in protecting our environment, it starts with the little things. First we utilize online document management solutions in order to provide paperless contracts, billing, payments, and wedding planning forms. This helps us to save trees and our valuable natural resources, as well as simplifies the booking and planning processes. In addition, we work to keep materials out of the landfill by donating used equipment to local non-profits and other organizations that benefit our community. For events, we only use energy efficient LED lighting to reduce the carbon footprint of our events. Instead of using CD's, we only utilize the highest quality MP3 downloads for music, reducing plastic and packaging associated with CD's that would otherwise be heading to the landfill.
In protecting our environment, every little bit goes a long way. Weddings are known to have immense waste stream, from food leftovers to paper and packaging from decorations, flowers, and gifts.
